Principal Strategist, US

Background

As a Principal on the US team, I partner with game-changing business leaders on their transformational sustainability strategies. With over 15 years’ experience in innovation and strategy development, I bring expertise in strategic foresight, business model innovation, and stakeholder empathy. Prior to Forum, I worked as a Principal at Jump Associates, a leading independent future focused strategy firm. While there, I advised senior leaders in food, retail, consumer goods and technology industries.

Committed to continuous learning and growth, I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Biomimicry from Arizona State University. Biomimicry is the practice of learning from nature for human design challenges. Nature holds many lessons for how businesses can create the conditions conducive for all life to thrive.

In 2017, I completed the inaugural class of the Next Economy MBA from LIFT Economy focusing on just and regenerative business models. As an undergraduate at the University of Cincinnati, I created a self-guided Interdisciplinary degree in Design Strategy focusing on social science, design, and business. My passion is finding solutions at the intersection of what is biologically responsible, what is technologically possible, what is socially desirable and economically viable.

I currently enjoy serving as a mentor to the Next Innovation Scholars program at the University of Cincinnati and seeing future generations imagine a better future. I live on Alameda Island in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband and our two dogs.

My dream project

Bringing together the various stakeholders in regenerative agriculture to increase soil health, biodiversity, value-sharing and community resilience. Just like we do with Growing our Future! Beyond that, I’m dreaming up leading a consumerism recovery group to explore fulfillment and meaning beyond producing and acquiring stuff.

What floats my boat outside work?

Outside of work, I love catching songs on my ukulele, roller-skate dancing, walking my dogs on the beach, going to transformational festivals, having deep conversations with friends and strangers, and learning about biomimicry.
