"The private sector can drive sustainability by adopting resource-efficient practices, innovating clean technologies, ensuring transparent supply chains, and engaging consumers in eco-friendly choices. To preserve our democracy, businesses must promote civic engagement, support policy reforms, foster workplace inclusivity, and combat misinformation. Integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria into business strategies aligns profitability with ethical and democratic values. By doing so, companies not only contribute to a healthier planet and a robust democracy but also enhance their long-term success and stakeholder trust."
