"Visionary leadership to successfully tackle our huge and escalating sustainability challenges requires a revolution in the way we think and act. For too long we have focused on being “less bad.” This moment requires a commitment to a regenerative mindset that heals and regenerates our ecosystems and our society in a just fashion. Incremental change won’t cut it, neither will net-zero. We can’t choose the compartmentally limited aspects of sustainability we want to focus on, the whole system needs repair and redesign. Public policy is a critical lever in this landscape. The problems we face have been designed into the system, we now must design them out."
